History

Claire Thibodeau is a ceramic artist based in the Detroit Metro Area. She received her BFA from Alfred University in 2015 and has continued her practice at locations such as Union Project, Haystack Mountain School of Craft, Arrowmont School for Arts and Crafts, and the Sonoma Community Center. She received her MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art.

Process

Whether the piece is wheel thrown, hand built, or slip casted, every vessel and wall piece are created with thoughtful consideration and care. They are made as individuals, even in a set, so that every piece you receive is a piece of art. They are hand-carved or glazed freehand so each piece is unique.
